PI-Type Controllers and ?–? Modulation for Saturated DC-DC Buck Power Converters

Departing from analyzing a general input-saturated second-order system, Lyapunov-based constructive procedure for the output-feedback stabilization of constantly perturbed DC-DC buck power converter is presented. The proposed scheme also incorporates ?-? modulator. obtained control developed in two parts: proportional-integral-type family algorithms devoted to regulating uncertain system by using measurements output voltage and modulator dedicated transforming action into {0, 1} discrete-valued signal. This kind sliding controller, which can be seen as subsystem with an on-off output. combination, PI-type controllers modulator, assures global stability closed-loop even if parametric uncertainties are convergence analysis was carried out Lyapunov's method. theoretical results confirmed real-time experimental tests, demonstrate anti-windup efficiency. experiments consider saturation input disturbances, having convincing results.
